The process

We were responsible for sourcing, hiring, and strategic talent planning to support Elsewhen’s goals.

Firstly, we established a targeted recruitment strategy to identify and attract candidates from elite companies known for their exceptional product functions. Over 12 months, we successfully made 24 hires across product, tech, design, and business development roles.

To increase flexibility, we helped set up an optimised freelancer/contractor programme that streamlined direct sourcing. This ensured Elsewhen could adapt quickly to changing project demands while maintaining high-quality standards.

We also supported a rethink of Elsewhen’s internal resource and demand planning process, transitioning them from a reactive to a proactive recruitment state. By scaling the talent acquisition team up or down in line with customer demand, we kept total recruitment costs to less than 15% of payroll added and achieved significant cost savings.

By the end of the engagement, we had saved Elsewhen £200k in recruitment fees compared to a like-for-like annual comparison, delivering a scalable, efficient talent acquisition model that aligned with their strategic objectives.
